About directory sources and updates

Listings draw on public agency directories, organization websites, provider datasets and community suggestions. Coverage and source dates vary by state and resource type. Listings may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect.

What a date means

A directory record date is the date recorded in the source or our directory workflow. A source-link check only records an attempt to check that link. Neither means the provider was contacted or that every detail, license, service, opening or eligibility rule was verified.

Check before acting

Ask the organization directly about current services, locations, ages served, fees, eligibility and availability. Check professional credentials with the appropriate licensing board. An NPI Registry entry identifies a provider record and does not establish a current license or suitability for your family.

Corrections and coverage

We make updates as information becomes available; there is no guaranteed review interval. Inclusion, search order and highlighted listings are not endorsements. Missing listings do not mean services are unavailable.

Report a listing issue. Please identify the listing and include a public source link; do not send private family or medical records.

Planning tools

Tools produce editable parent records and activity drafts. They do not replace an official IEP, evaluation, treatment plan or professional guidance, and do not establish compliance with educational requirements.
